OSUN GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION: APC CANDIDATE, OGBENI RAUF AREGBESOLA WINS

In the final result of the Osun State governorship election announced by the Independent National Electoral
Commission (INEC) on Sunday 10th August 2014, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola Emerged the winner among 20 candidate who contested in the election.

The people of Osun kept vigil all night awaiting the eventuality of their votes as INEC complied the total figure, at the end, PDP was disappointed while joy of victory was alerted in APC.

Ogbeni Aregbesola won in 24 local government areas, while Senator Iyiola Omisore led in 8 local council areas with total of 394, 684 votes for APC and 292, 747 votes for PDP, while Alhaji Fatai Akinbade, of Labour Party had 8,892 votes

Osun has finally decided who is worthy of leading their state for another 4 years, so will Nigerians decide free and fair in 2015.
